Creamed
Potatoes
(serves 8)
Ingredients
5 pounds
potatoes, baked and peeled*
1 quart of half and half *
1/4 pound butter*
1 teaspoon sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper to taste
Directions
In a
large bowl, chop potatoes into chunks with an egg chopper or with
2 knives. Place potatoes, half and half, butter, sugar, and Worcestershire
sauce in a crock pot; cover and cook on low. It is very important
that the potatoes do not boil. Cook them very slowly. Cook for
about 4 hours stirring occasionally. Garnish with parsley.

You must bake the potatoes; do not boil them. Make no substitutions
for half and half or butter so you can get the real flavor of
the potatoes.
