Apple Raisin
Stuffing
Ingredients
1 1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 cup butter
8 cups soft cubes
1/2 cup raisins
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 cup dries sage leaves
1/4 pepper
3 cups chopped tart apples
Directions
Preheat to 350 degrees.
Saute butter, onion and celery in
a large skillet until tender. Stir in 1/3 of the bread cubes;
pour into a large bowl. Add sage leaves, raisins, salt, pepper,
apples and the rest of the bread cubes. Place in greased 13x9
baking dish. Bake for 15 minutes covered and 15 minutes uncovered
until hot and slightly crisp.
