Chili's Fast Chili
(varies by additions)
Ingredients
2lbs. regular or chili grind hamburger with a fat content
of 6% to 10%.
1 15oz. can beef or chicken broth
1 15oz. can diced tomato's
1 8oz. can tomato sauce
1 7oz. can mild diced green chili's (optional)
1 medium onion (diced)
1 package "Bootleg Chili Blend"
Directions
Begin by putting the broth and
sauce in a large pot and bring to a slow boil, then add
the meat and break-up into smaller pieces. When a slow boil
has returned, reduce heat and add the Chili Blend and the
diced onions; stir in the blend. (The optional packets of
salt and sugar can now be added, remember if you are adding
beans, use only 1/2 the sugar.) Finally, add the cans of
diced chilis and tomatos, stir and cover for additional
10-15 minutes. Taste the chili to determine if the optional
packet of cayenne pepper is needed and make sure the pieces
of meat are small enough and cooked thoroughly. In approximately
1/2 hour from start to finish you have a meat blend to make
Nacho's, Taco's, Burrito's and of course a great bowl of
Chili.
