Seven Layered
Salad
Ingredients
1 large head of lettuce, shredded
1/3 cup green onions, sliced thin
1/3 cup celery, sliced
1- 6 ounce can of water chestnuts, sliced
1 10 ounce bag of frozen peas
2 cups mayonnaise
1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
4 hard boil eggs
3 tomatoes, sliced
Parmesan Cheese
Directions
In a 13 x 9 dish, layer the following; lettuce, onion, celery,
water chestnuts, peas. Spread the mayonnaise over the top like
frosting; sprinkle the sugar over the mayonnaise, cover and refrigerate
overnight.
Before serving, sprinkle
the bacon over the mayonnaise, followed by the eggs, tomatoes
and cheese.
