Pecan
Pie Bars
Ingredients
1 package yellow cake mix
1/2 cup butter, melted
4 egg, divided
1/2 cup sugar, brown
1 cup corn syrup, light
1/2 cup corn syrup, dark
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup pecans, chopped
Directions
Set aside 2/3 cup cake mix. Combine remaining cake mix,
butter, and one egg. Mix with fork until crumbly. Press
mixture into a greased 9x13" baking dish. Bake at 350
degrees for 15 to 20 minutes, or until light golden brown.
Combine reserved cake mix, remaining eggs, brown sugar,
corn syrups and vanilla in a mixing bowl. Beat at medium
speed with mixer for 1 to 2 minutes. Pour over partially
baked crust. Sprinkle with pecans. Bake at 350 degrees for
30 to 35 minutes. Cool and cut into bars.
