Cream
Cheese Pound Cake

10-12 )
Ingredients
1/2 lb. butter
1/2 pound cream cheese
2 cups sugar
2 cups + 6 tablespoons self-rising flour
6 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
Directions
Cream butter, cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add flour,
eggs (one at a time) and vanilla. Completely blend with
cream cheese mixture. Pour into greased 10" tube pan.
Bake at 350 degrees approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour or
until golden on top and knife inserted in cake comes out
dry. Be careful not to over bake causing the cake to become
too dry.
Cake can be served immediately
after cooling or sliced and frozen in individual packages.
When ready to consume, thaw or microwave until thawed (20
- 25 seconds). To make it even more special when serving,
heat about 15 to 18 seconds in microwave then add a scoop
of your favorite ice cream on top. Recipe can be halved.
