Apart Cinnamon Bread
Ingredients
1 2/3 cups granulated sugar, divided
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
4 8 oz packages refrigerator biscuits, regular and quartered
3/4 cup butter, melted
Raisins and nuts: optional
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a bowl that has a lid, combine
cinnamon, 2/3 cup sugar; drop biscuit quarters in the bowl
and put the lid on. Give the bowl a few shakes until well
coated. In a small bowl, combine remaining sugar and melted
butter. Place half of the coated biscuit quarters in a greased
tube pan. Sprinkle with nuts and raisins. Pour half of the
sugar and butter over biscuits and repeat with another layer.
Bake for 40 minutes. Let cool for 5 minutes before removing
from pan.
