Ingredients
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons orange marmalade
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup boiling water
1/3 cup orange juice
1 cup sugar
2 teaspoons orange extract
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup chopped eggs
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Melt butter in boiling water,
blend in orange juice, marmalade, extract and egg. Sift
all dry ingredients and add to orange mixture; add nuts.
Stir until dry ingredients are moistened. Pour into a greased
loaf pan. Bake for 40 minutes or until tester comes out
clean. Cool on wire rack.
