Sweet
& Sour Meatballs
(makes 50 to 60 meatballs)
Ingredients
1 1/2 pound ground chuck
1 small can water chestnuts, chopped fine
1/2 cup bread crumbs
2 eggs
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1 (12 oz) jar currant jelly
1 cup ketchup
Directions
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
In al large bowl, combine ground
chuck, water chestnuts, bread crumbs, eggs, and garlic salt.
Shape into 3/4 inch balls. Place meatballs in shallow baking
pan. Mix jelly and ketchup together and spon over meatballs.
Bake uncovered for 1 hour; turning meatballs every 15 minutes.
