Ingredients
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup fresh orange juice
1 tablespoon grated orange peel
2 to 3 cups walnuts
Directions
Combine sugar and orange juice in
a medium saucepan. Cook over medium heat until sugar is dissolved.
Continue cooking without stirring to 238 degrees on a candy thermometer.
Remove from heat; add orange rind and walnuts. With a wooden spoon,
stir until the mixture becomes creamy. Turn onto waxed paper,
separating the walnuts with a fork. Let dry.
